Who we are
Starzation is a game made by Fulgeon, an independent studio. If you have any question about your privacy, write to [email protected].
This website
starzation.com does not ask you for any personal data: there are no accounts, no forms and no newsletters.
It uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no trackers of any kind. The fonts and the videos are served from our own server, so visiting the site does not send your data to other companies such as Google.
Your choice of language is remembered in your own browser (local storage). It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it by deleting the site data in your browser.
The site is hosted in the European Union and is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data (such as your IP address) only to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks, under its own privacy policy.
The game
Starzation is sold and installed through Steam. Your Steam account, purchases, achievements and cloud saves are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. Through Steamworks we may receive aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example, how many players unlock an achievement).
Your games and settings are saved on your own computer.
If the game closes unexpectedly, the next time you open it you may be offered to send us a crash report (game version, operating system, graphics card, the screen you were on and the last lines of the game's log, without your user folder name). It is only sent if you accept, and only to find and fix the error.
Our Telegram community
The page /verify is used by the bot of our Telegram community to check that new members are people. It uses Telegram and Cloudflare Turnstile, and processes your Telegram user identifier for that check only.
The privacy policy of the earlier Telegram version of Starzation is kept here.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to your data protection authority. In practice, the website keeps no personal data about you; for anything related to Steam, Valve is the one responsible.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If what the website or the game does with data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before it happens.
