These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Starzation (the “game”), including our website, web client and Telegram Mini App. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Starzation you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may provide additional rules for specific features (for example, events or the player market); those rules form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to play. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. The game may be unavailable or restricted in some regions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your linked Telegram or Google sign-in secure. Accounts are personal; you may not sell, rent, share or transfer an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud, abuse or harm to other players.
4. Virtual items and credits
The game contains virtual items, currencies and credits (collectively, “virtual goods”). The following applies to all virtual goods:
- They have no real-world monetary value, are not money, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them within the game. You do not own them.
- They are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law.
- They are subject to the game’s economy and balancing. We may add, change, re-balance, expire or remove virtual goods, and we may adjust prices, drop rates and availability as the game evolves.
- Starzation is designed to be free to play with no pay-to-win: we do not sell competitive in-game power. Optional purchases are cosmetic or convenience within fair limits.
- Virtual goods may be lost if your account is closed or terminated for a breach of these Terms.
5. Fair play and prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use cheats, exploits, bots, automation, scripts or modified clients, or otherwise interfere with normal play;
- create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, collude, or manipulate the player market, leaderboards or rewards;
- engage in real-money trading of accounts, currencies or items outside the game;
- harass, threaten, defraud or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful or infringing content in chat;
- attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer our systems, or breach our security and anti-abuse measures.
We enforce fair play actively and may remove content, reverse illegitimate gains, restrict features, or suspend and terminate accounts.
6. Intellectual property
Starzation and all related content — including game design, art, text, logos, the “Starzation” name and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the game except as expressly permitted.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that progress and virtual goods will always be preserved.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, virtual goods, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
